What a neat item for that Ancient Worlds lover. This is a wonderful Ancient Egyptian Ushabti From what appears to be a white composition or pottery. This piece is much more pretty than photo's reveal. This is absolutely museum quality and a bit erie. The Ushabti wears a lappet wig, false beard and is has applied pigmentation. There are detailed hieroglyphics on the front and back of the ushabti as shown. What makes this ushabti so striking is the beautiful face which has been damaged or disfigured giving it a Phantom of the Opera appearance. The repair done on the face is just incredible.
