From Thebes. This is a wonderful Ancient Egyptian Scarab carved from steatite. This marvelous piece has a really beautiful light blue color and is in excellent condition with minimal chips on the side. There is a hole through it making it ready for stringing. The belly of this piece shows a winged scarab, a Cartouch and other hieroglyphics.Set at a very low start price winning bidder will truly love this scarab. You will not find another one like this. This superb piece measures 2 1/4cm by 1 1/4 cm.
